When we planned a trip to Tibet in 2002, it was logical to use Nepal as a staging post. We went to the Land of Snows as tourists and didn't expect to come home as importers of Nepalese rugs.

But that's the magic of Nepal.

As we move from Nepalese to Australian designs we sometimes look back on our journey and realise it's been hectic, exciting, challenging and fun. We wouldn't have missed it for quids.

We're proud of our rugs - we could be doing a whole lot worse than bringing beauty and colour into people's lives.
