Q7. Are the weavers well paid ?
A7. Nepal is a poor country and the rug industry is its largest export earner. By Nepal 's standards, the weavers are well paid: the average annual wage in Nepal is approximately $350; the lowest annual wage in Kathmandu is about $700; at about $1800 a year, our weavers are paid 50% above the average Nepali weaver's wages.

Q8. Will the rugs fade ?

Q9. How should I look after my rug ?
A9. If you allow dirt and grit to get into the pile, it will damage the rug. You need to keep your rug clean: vacuum it regularly; soak up any spills immediately and wash with lukewarm water and a gentle detergent. Your rug can be steam cleaned. Rotating your rug every few months will help to maintain an even pile.
